Cameras in Court Pilot Project Now Has 7 Proceedings Online
October 21, 2011
The federal judiciary's digital video pilot that started in July now has posted video of seven courtroom proceedings, which are broken up into 70 segments.
In all, 14 federal trial courts are participating in the three-year experiment.
The pilot is limited to civil, not criminal, cases. No proceedings may be recorded without the approval of the presiding judge and the consent of the parties. The recordings are posted on this website and also may be posted on the participating court's website.
You can read more about the pilot project, and view the videos already posted, on the Cameras in Courts page.
