Constitution Day 2006
On September 18, 2006, the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico
celebrated “Constitution Day 2006: The Right to Vote.” The court invited 8th
grade students from several schools in Puerto Rico for a day of interactive
activities focused on the right to vote. Chief Judge Jose A. Fuste, Judge
Gustavo A. Gelpi Jr., Clerk of Court Frances Rios De Moran and Chief Deputy
Clerk Angel Valencia participated. The program was organized by Staff Attorneys
Ada Garcia and Edgardo Rodriguez Quilinchini and Court Interpreter Janis Palma
as well as Systems Department Programmer Jose Aponte.
