COLA for Federal Judges in 2009
P.L. 111-8, the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009, waived Section 140 of Public Law 97-92. Justices and judges of the United States are authorized to receive a 2.8 percent cost-of-living adjustment for 2009, retroactive to January 1, 2009.
