Judiciary Funding at '09 Levels Until December


At the end of October, Congress passed a second continuing resolution to provide funding through December 18 for those agencies and branches of government, including the federal Judiciary, whose appropriations bills have not yet been approved.

The Judiciary’s appropriation in the 2010 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations bill will most likely be folded into an omnibus appropriations bill. As The Third Branch went to print, approximately seven appropriations bills were to be part of the omnibus package.
