Photo: Federal Judge Swears In Congressman

Earlier this month, Chief Judge Catherine D. Perry, of the Eastern District of Missouri, swore in U.S. Representative Wm. Lacy Clay (D-Mo.), in a ceremony at the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse in St. Louis. Holding the bible is William C. Sibert, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Missouri. Several courts throughout the country have held similar ceremonies to foster relations between the Legislative and Judicial branches of government.
