Federal Courts Offer Written Exam for Spanish/English Interpreters

 

The written portion of the Spanish/English Federal Court Interpreter Certification Examination will be offered in 33 locations nationwide September 20, 2008. Registration for the written exam began June 2 and will close on August 4 at 5 p.m. (Eastern).

Interpreters of Spanish who have not previously passed the Written Examination are encouraged to register, and to take the exam. A candidate must pass the Written Examination in order to be qualified to take the Oral Examination, which will be offered sometime in 2009.
