Karen K. Siegel 1947-2007

Karen K. Siegel, the first Assistant Director of the Office of the Judicial Conference Executive Secretariat, died June 5, 2007, after a long illness. Siegel was 60 years old.

In 1982, she joined the Administrative Office as special assistant to the Executive Assistant Director. By 1991, she had been named the first chief of the Office of the Judicial Conference Executive Secretariat, and in 1994, OJCES Assistant Director, a position she held until 2004.

Siegel is survived by her husband Mark and two daughters.
