Vol. 35, Number 8—August 2003 New AD for Human Resources Charlotte Peddicord has been appointed Assistant Director for Human Resources at the Administrative Office. She succeeds Alton C. Ressler, who retired in February. Peddicord has been chief of the AO's Human Resources Division since 1991. During her tenure she oversaw a number of initiatives, including the creation and implementation of the Court Personnel System, which modernized classification and pay for most judicial employees. She also has provided staff support to the Judicial Conference Committee on Judicial Resources. Prior to joining the AO in 1983, Peddicord worked for both state and local government in North Carolina. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
