| Overview of the Position: | The Procurement and Financial Specialist performs and coordinates administrative, technical, and professional work related to financial, accounting, and budgetary activities of the court and ensuring the agency is supplied with the materials, equipment and services required to function optimally. Incumbent ensures compliance with the appropriate guidelines, policies, and approved internal controls. In addition, the incumbent prepares, updates, and analyzes a variety of accounting records, financial statements, and reports; oversees and assists with procurement and accounts payable activities; assists with budget preparation, develops recommendations regarding procedures for improvement, and assists with policy development regarding financial and procurement matters. |
