Abstract:
The authors present a case study of a prison-based work release that is being converted to a Community Correction Center, illustrating the diffusion concepts in a correctional agency that is in the process of adopting evidence-based practices. These diffusion concepts allow an organization to examine the desired spread of an innovation and address resistance (barriers) to its diffusion.
