A Random (Almost) Study of Staff Training Aimed at Reducing Re-arrest (STARR): Reducing Recidivism through Intentional Design

Volume 75 Number 2
September 2011

The authors present a randomized study with a pre-post test design that looks at whether training officers in the use of core correctional supervision skills will result in the increased use of those skills, and whether the increased use of those skills would improve rearrest rates of the clients under supervision.
