Abstract:
Obtaining and maintaining lawful employment is a common condition for community supervision and a critical marker of conventional living that can supplant the "need" to commit crime. The authors present data on the application of procedures of 113 retailers and explore the implications of the move from paper applications to computer- and Internet-based ones.
