The authors provide their recollections of the impact of the late Dr. Latessa on the field of criminal justice, focusing on his transforming effect on the University of Cincinnati’s School of Criminal Justice, his dedication to evidence-based practices, and his championing of dynamic risk assessment and the need to address criminogenic risk and needs. They conclude by describing his role as change agent in criminal justice education and practice.
