Volume 83 Number 2
Date:
Abstract:

The authors conducted a qualitative study of a tablet-based intervention, StaySafe, for those with a history of substance abuse who were returning to the community. Findings support the efficacy of app-based interventions such as StaySafe to increase awareness about HIV risk and facilitate decision-making related to obtaining HIV testing and self-regulation of impulsivity and anger management.
