In March 2025, for the 100th anniversary of the Probation Act, District Judge and Chair of the Committee on Criminal Law of the Judicial Conference Judge Edmond Chang and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Ketanji Brown Jackson delivered tributes to the federal probation and pretrial system before a gathering of district probation and pretrial services chiefs.
