High School Students Celebrate Impartial Judiciary
In celebration of the 225th anniversary of the Federal Judiciary Act of 1789, the Federal Judges Association and the Federal Bar Association have teamed up to sponsor a nationwide essay contest for high school students. The essay topic: "What a Fair and Impartial Judiciary Means to Me and the United States." To help them in their work, students watched the Court Shorts video on an impartial judiciary. Contest winners were selected by a panel of federal judges and lawyers.
