The authors—a former deputy chief of the Probation and Pretrial Services Office, former associate director of what was then named the Office of Probation and Pretrial Services, and former chief of the (renamed) Probation and Pretrial Services Office—recount two decades of strategic planning to become outcome-based through adopting evidence-based practices and tracking results.
