The district serves 41 counties with six authorized U.S. District Judges, three Senior U.S. District Judges, and four full-time U.S. Magistrate Judges. The office has authorized work units of 78. The United States Probation Office for the Western District of Oklahoma is currently accepting applications for a U.S. Probation Officer for its Oklahoma City location. By statute, probation officers serve in a judiciary law enforcement position and assist in the administration of justice and promote community safety, gather information, supervise offenders/defendants, interact with collateral agencies, prepare reports, conduct investigations, and present recommendations to the court. |
